Pilot Study | BCL6 as a Novel Regulator of Glucose Metabolism |
Awardee | Hilda Ye PhD |
Abstract |
The proto-oncogene Bcl6 has been extensively studied for its regulatory properties in the immune system. Functional significance of Bcl6 outside of the immune system remains under-explored. The goal of this pilot project is to evaluate the role of Bcl6 as a novel regulator of glucose metabolism with a focus on the downstream effector function of insulin signaling in the liver. |
