Linus received his MD/PhD from U.C. San Francisco and performed his graduate studies in Ulrike Heberlein's lab studying the genetics of acute responses to drugs of abuse in Drosophila Melanogaster. After an internal medicine residency at BIDMC Harvard and clinical endocrine fellowship at BIDMC/Joslin, he received postdoctoral training in Evan Rosen’s lab (molecular and genetic control of adipocyte development and metabolism), in the areas of epigenomic profiling, transcriptional regulation, and molecular bases of insulin resistance.
Linus has a longstanding interest in the unbiased application of genetics and genomics to better understand the function of molecular and cell-cell circuits.
